My name is Shannon Lee Walker and I have been designing and developing multimedia since 2002 when I started my first career related job at Mountainland Printing.

I currently reside in North Salt Lake and work as a freelance web designer / developer while searching for full time employment in the greater Salt Lake area. I obtained my degree in Visual Art & Design / Multimedia from the Salt Lake Community College, along with additional skills I gained during a year at the Art Institute of Colorado. My personal focus is on UI design and standards based in website programing and development.

The primary technologies I use are Adobe Creative Suite, JavaScript, ActionScript, PHP and MySQL, I utilize and advocate web standards like CSS and XHTML as much as possible because I believe that they are dramatically changing the Internet. Not to mention they make my life, and my client's and employer's life, easier and less expensive. These are just a few of my ideals I try to keep in mind when working. I also have a keen interest in writing and learning upcoming technologies for the web, such as HTML 5, CSS3 and developing smartphone themes and applications.
